W O R S H I P
One of the first things you'll notice is that we will be doing a lot of singing at First Friday! This is one way that we have chosen to express our praise to God.
We believe that worship is a constant expression of praise - worshipping God in Spirit and in Truth!
And it is not contingent upon how we feel or what we like. We honor God with worship because He deserves it.
If you would like to be a part of a gathering where our focus is on worshipping God in this way, then First Friday is for you!
C O N N E C T
Hebrews 10:25 - "And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of his return is drawing near." (NLT)
Meeting people. It's tough sometimes. And it can be even more difficult when you are looking for a place to fellowship with other believers that is consistent to your own faith.
We see First Friday as a place where people in the Triad can gather, connect, and challenge each other in their faith.
You'll see very quickly that this gathering is less about what separates us and much more about what unites us and brings us together in our faith.
S E R V E
This is big.
At First Friday, we want to do MORE than just meet together. As college students and young adults in the Triad, we want to make a difference.
We will be organizing community service events and each month at First Friday, we will be supporting a local food bank.
As "admission" to First Friday, everyone is encouraged to bring at least one can of a non-perishable food item (but really, bring more!). Let's serve each other and our community around us!

First Friday is a place where high school seniors, college students, young adults, and older can
gather on the first friday of every month to
worship, connect, and serve.
